What makes this SketchUp course different?

There are no doubt, many various tutorials on building a floor plan in SketchUp. Some of them are even free on YouTube (I have some here!). But this one is different. It is made specifically for interior designers, with tips and tricks for your workflow. Plus, as a bonus not seen in other floor plan tutorials and courses, I include a SketchUp template file with furniture and appliances to use on future projects in your interior design practice.

Draw a Floor Plan in SketchUp - SketchUp for Interior Designers

Drawing floor plans in SketchUp is easy and fast. But a frustration of mine was needing to redraw each 2D component every time I started a new project. Or searching through past projects to see if I had drawn a sofa or stove that I could use. So I spent hours creating this template, so that I can pull any piece of furniture or appliance from it. Now I want to share it with you as part of this course, and I wanted to make the course affordable! ($24!)

You will also find lecture notes with each session, so that you can print them and use them as a reference each time you draw in SketchUp. This way, you won’t need to go back a find something specific in a video.

This floor plan will also be a precursor to my upcoming 3D modeling course. I will use the same floor plan, and turn it into a 3D model. If you would like to save your spot in this course, you can prepay, and pay the lowest price it will ever be at $22. It will launch on February 21st and the price will go up to $35. This course will teach you how to 3D model in SketchUp, insert textures, create elevation drawings, present to clients, and more.
