Interior Designers

Bring it to life.

Get Started

A more gentle entry into 3D Modeling...

In this course, we'll be turning a floor plan into a 3D model! You'll be given step-by-step instructions, tips on best practices, and a solid workflow to organize your SketchUp model.

We will pick up where we left off on the floor plan course, extruding walls, adding 3D furnishings, custom textures, and more! Didn't take the floor plan course? That's okay! You'll be provided with a floor plan file to start with.

At the end of this course, you'll be ready to draw your interior design projects in SketchUp, show your clients multiple options, and use it as your jumping off point for more SketchUp skills!

Stop wondering how to use SketchUp...

SketchUp is often advertised as an "easy to use", "jump right in", type of software... and it is! But learning how to use it properly and efficiently takes time and research. Many courses and books have an abundance of content on every aspect of SketchUp. But for interior designers, we don't need every bit of information... we just need to move through a client project from measurements, presentation, ordering, then install. This course has taken the guesswork out of how to develop an interior designer's workflow for efficient 3D modeling in SketchUp, so that you can move on to design documentation and presentation quickly.
